Former photographer, army officer and now cabinet maker, Neil Williams moved to the Blue Mountains some 5 years ago to enjoy a more creative environment. Neil specialises in making Shaker oval Boxes and one off commission furniture pieces.

"The idea of craftsmanship and process is as important to me as the finished piece. The finished piece is the culmination of the artists design, experience, skill and insight".

Judith Langley comes to the gallery from an equally diverse background of teaching and consulting in the special education field. "I’ve always enjoyed and appreciated the finer things in life and find that working with talented craftspeople with remarkable creativity goes a long way to satisfying this need."

Both Neil and Judith have extensive knowledge and a long-standing interest in the works and design ethic of the American Shakers, together with the Arts and Crafts movement. These mutual pursuits have brought them together to create a unique gallery of fine masters’ works.
